Recently, 3D printing can be said to be a very popular topic in the scientific and technological circles, and it is no longer just a concept. 3D printing technology can already print a lot of products, and now Urbee company has used 3D printing technology to printu0026rdquo; a car Urbee 2. According to Wired reports, Urbee 2 is a car printed by a 3D printer, but at present it is mainly assembled. The whole process took about 2500 hours. According to the released video, the car has 3 wheels, two in the front and one in the back. Most of the materials are plastic, but the engine and chassis are metal. The weight of the entire car is 1,200 pounds, but this car is currently classified as a motorcycle in the United States. Urbee 2 was created by Urbee, a subsidiary of Kor Ecologic, and was mainly designed by a team led by designer Jim Kor. Kor Ecologic mainly focuses on 3D printing technology in the automotive field of the future. Its goal is to make every kilometer of travel consume as little energy as possible, and use materials close to real cars to make cars as much as possible. The cost of this car model is about 50,000 US dollars. Kor said that it has received 14 orders so far. (The metal laser cutting machine has been edited and compiled from the Internet.
